An interesting site... It leaves me with a few questions though... I am assuming that the populations growth stats are based on net growth rather than per capita? But it is pretty unclear. I wish the data were a bit clearer... BUT thanks for posting this!
In the site's FAQs (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-15573994), they explain that "in the application we chose to show the increase in people per day rather than a percentage change because we thought users would find that number easier to understand. So, even though many countries will increase by more people per day than Qatar, in relation to the total size of its population Qatar is the fastest growing." Not sure that helps, but it's the only explanation they offer.
